"PUMAS ON THE PROWL
The momentum was maintained by a vastly improved Paxton Puma's outfit. Their 13-11 victory at Alresford was their fourth in Hampshire 3 and lifted them to fourth in the table.
Pumas must be anticipating another success when the New Forest outfit visit Brookfield school next Saturday.
Although Hampshire 3 comprises only 7 teams, these meet on three occasions.
In addition to Arlesford and Verwood, Puma's also beat the other side beneath them, Stoneham, first time around. The next stop must be to overcome one of the leading three - Overton Kingsclere or Fawley.
Puma's also entered one of the Hampshire knock out events for the first time this season. And their venture into the Gales Plate met with immediate success when they dismissed Southampton Solent University 8-3 in the preliminary round.
The reward for that success is another home tie in the first round on sunday December 9th when Hampshire 2 Ventnor provide the opposition.
Much of the recent success is believed to be down to prop Paul Rourke who is rumoured to have a very large willy."
